This is the page for the trip around Africa in Dec 2022.
The page will start to flow in late November.
But the basic plan:
Fly into Dubai and meet up with the group.
Cruise down the east coast of Africa via Madagascar, Mauritius, Reunion Island and Seychelles. The a number of ports in South Africa. We get off and have a few days in Cape Town then fly up to a safari place in the Greater Kruger National Park. We farewell to most of the group here and Jon, Kayanne and I go on a tour called “4 Counties” where we visit Mozambique, Eswatini and Lesotho.
And then home. Fun times will be had by all.
So off I went. Sat 26th November off to Melbourne for a few wonderful days.
On the 28th I went to Melbourne airport and stayed in a room overlooking the runway. Awesome.
It was then up at really stupid o’clock for an early flight to Dubai on the 29th. After a lovely uneventful flight with four movies, 3 meals and two naps I arrived in Dubai and met up with the gang.
The trip had now really begun.
