19th Nov – Hong Kong, China
TURNAROUND DAY. Lots of sad people got off, but we stayed on! The sail in was very pretty. I do like winter sailing. Late mornings, early evenings.
We did a bus tour and saw so much – another amazing mix of socio economic areas. The tram up to Victoria Peak, was amazingly steep. So steep. The buildings were at 45 degrees.
Up the cable car. Just a bit steep.
Top of Victoria Peak.
We then did a drive down along the coastline.
To Aberdeen.
And to the Stanley Markets.
We saw the smog.
The racecourse where the horses live in high rise stables. And home to Olympic Equestrian events.
And the cemeteries where you buy a plot – or rent one for 10 years. And after 10 years …they evict you! You need to move out!
Then a really pretty sail away! With a few drinks in the lounge.
